UA Local 174 Hosting Green Technology and Piping Systems Industry Week

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., April 22, 2011—West Michigan Plumbers, Fitters and Services Trades Local Union 174 and the West Michigan Mechanical Contractors Association are sponsoring the Green Technology and Piping Systems Industry Week. Eight mobile classrooms are on display and open to the public May 3-7 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There will be training demonstrations throughout the week showcasing new technologies and highlighting the training members of the UA receive. The mobile displays are:

  • Piping trades trailer
  • Welding trades trailer
  • Medical gas trailer
  • Green technology trailer
  • Process piping trailer
  • HVACR trailer
  • Rigger trainer
  • Plumbing service trailer
