Grand Rapids, Mich.—Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co. (Egan) is West Michigan’s fifth largest construction firm, according to new rankings published by Crain’s Grand Rapids Business. The publication issued a new list based on 2025 West Michigan revenue in the Mach 23 edition. The four other construction firms in the top five are construction managers and general contractors, making Egan the highest-ranked specialty contractor. Egan also topped the list for number of West Michigan employees, with 540 team members.

Earlier this year, Egan was also ranked as one of the Nation’s Top Employers by the National Association of Business Resources. The February 18 and March 5 editions of the Wall Street Journal featured the list of “Best and Brightest Companies to Work For,” with Egan receiving its third “Elite Award” in the national program.
