Elite Recognition Continues for Egan in Best and Brightest Program

Five-Time Winner of Best of the Best Small Business

Grand Rapids, Mich.—Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co. (Egan) has earned its fifth Elite Award in the "Best of the Best Small Business" Category in the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) annual program honoring best practices in human resources. For 19 consecutive years, Egan has been named one of West Michigan's Best & Brightest Companies to Work For. Each year the NABR also recognizes 14 Elite companies that excel in a number categories. Egan has earned 15 Elite awards, putting ithe company in another category of "Iconic Winners."

“These companies have focused on making a meaningful impact in their culture,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO of NABR and the Best & Brightest Program. “Employees are their top priority which have given these elite thinking companies a competitive advantage.

An independent research firm evaluates each company based on key measures, and companies with the highest scores earn Elite awards in those respective categories. Egan has also been awarded Elite honors in categories such as  “Recruitment, Selection & Orientation,” “Compensation, Benefits & Employee Solutions,” and "Communication & and Shared Vision.”

Since 2014, Egan has also been recognized as one of the nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. Egan has earned three Elite Awards in the national competition and has appeared on list of top 101 employers nationwide three years running.
