Chris Weaver, CM-Lean, President
While studying HVACR Engineering Technology at Ferris State University in the late 90s, Chris Weaver became enamored with seeing ideas become reality through 3D modeling. When he joined Andy J. Egan Co.'s Design-Build department in 2000, he worked with the company’s skilled tradesmen to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the company at a time when few mechanical contractors were adopting these techniques. In his role as Egan’s President, Chris leads the company’s more than 600 employees and four offices throughout West Michigan, with a commitment to the outstanding culture and reputation that the company has built over generations. A frequent speaker at industry conferences and trade shows, Weaver is currently on the Ferris State University HVACR Advisory Board and the Core Group for the Lean Construction Institute of Michigan CoP. He has also served as Chair of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Technology Committee and is the Past President of the American Subcontractors Association of Michigan (ASAM). Originally from Atlanta, Mich. – the elk capital of Michigan -- Chris enjoys traveling to Northern Michigan to visit his hometown with his three children.
