We are looking for an Estimator to work with our Sheet Metal & Insulation Department. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated project managers, tradesmen, service techs and engineers, we’re interested in meeting you.

This position requires an individual who is extremely professional, demonstrates discipline and ability to hold themselves to high standards, integrity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well under pressure. Experience in the construction industry is required.

Duties:

  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely estimates for HVAC projects in alignment with bidding documents and customer or project requirements.
  • Perform accurate quantity surveys and create estimates based on plans and specifications (manually and computerized).
  • Assist with change orders, contracts, subcontracts, submittals and RFIs.
  • Analyze construction schedules, shop drawings and other project documentation and assess risks.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, subcontractors and customers.
  • Participate in Prebid walk-thru’s.
  • Participate in post bid presentations.
  • Continuous review of estimating methodology and processes to improve estimating accuracy

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite (Required)
  • Experience with Sage Estimating (Preferred)
  • Experience with Trimble AutoBid (QuickPen) (Preferred)
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years sheet metal or insulation experience. (Required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift, 8 Hours/Day
