Like most businesses and institutions across the globe, Egan is taking steps to safeguard our employees from the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and doing our part to slow the spread of this virus. We serve a customer base that spans a wide variety of industries that include food and pharmaceutical manufacturers, educational institutions, hospitals and healthcare facilities, power and energy plants, and others. Many of these businesses provide services that are deemed essential to the public. Egan’s goal is to continue business operations in support of our customers while maintaining the safety of our employees.
Our regular business hours – Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. -- continue to be in operation. Egan will also continue to offer its 24/7 services to support our customers in maintaining their operations. For emergency service needs around the clock, please call 1-800-594-9244.
As of March 12 and until further notice, Egan has been restricting visitors to our building to those with appointments only. This includes vendors, customers, sales representatives and any other individuals who are not directly employed by Egan. "Drop by" visitors will be turned away without exception. Our doors will remain locked even during business hours in order to enforce this policy.
Employees who can perform essential job functions outside the office have been asked to work from home, and additional technology resources are being deployed to shift others to home-based work. For employees who must remain in the office or on a project site, we are strictly following the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations around sanitation and hygiene, social distancing, and self-reporting of travel history and health screening questions for this outbreak. Egan is regularly communicating changes to these policies to our employees and strongly enforcing a policy that requires employees to stay home if they are sick and not feeling well.
Egan is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and will be updating our business policies in the face of new information. We ask our customers and trade partners to also proactively share changes to their business plans and current projects, so that we can address shifting needs as quickly as possible.
