We are looking for a Safety Superintendent to support construction projects at Andy J. Egan Company and look out for the safety and well-being of our employees and subcontractors. This position will ensure that all OSHA and MIOSHA rules and regulations are followed on the jobsite and will have the authority to stop work if situation is deemed unsafe

Duties:

• Lead safety meetings
• Daily reporting
• Daily audits
• Document and maintain certifications for crew
• Authority to stop work, if deemed unsafe

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years working in the construction industry
• OSHA 30 Construction (Required)
• OSHA 500 (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Has experience with overseeing a crew of 50+ people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction field

Schedule:

• 5 Days/Week, Day Shift
• 10 Hours/Day

Location: Onsite, Jobsite Trailer (Wayland, MI)
